Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 July 2026
UConnect (International) Pty Ltd ("UConnect", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website and its enquiry form, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
1. Who we are
The entity responsible for your personal information is:
UConnect (International) Pty Ltd
ABN: 38 159 803 611
Registered address: 90 Dalmeny Drive, Prestons NSW 2170, Australia
Email: david@uconnect.com.au
2. What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us, plus basic technical data:
- Details you submit — your name, email address, and the description of the task you enter in our enquiry form.
- Technical data — standard information your browser sends automatically, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, which our hosting provider may log.
We do not ask for, or intend to collect, sensitive information (such as health, financial account or government-identifier details). Please don't include such information in the task description.
3. How and why we use it
We use the information you submit to:
- respond to your enquiry and prepare the plain-English task audit you requested;
- contact you about that enquiry and any work that follows from it;
- operate, secure and improve this website and our services; and
- meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
We do not send marketing messages unless you have separately asked us to, and we do not sell your personal information.
4. Who we share it with
We disclose personal information only where needed to run our business:
- Service providers — trusted third parties who help us deliver our services, including our customer-relationship-management (CRM) platform, form/webhook provider, website hosting and email. They are permitted to use the data only to provide their service to us.
- Legal reasons — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing.
5. Overseas storage
Some of our service providers (for example our CRM and hosting) may store or process data on servers located outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with this policy and the Australian Privacy Principles.
6. How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access or disclosure, including using reputable providers and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing david@uconnect.com.au. If you have a privacy concern we haven't resolved, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
9. Children
This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
